    Organic Cashew Milk
    Cashews are a delicious snacking nut full of vitamins and minerals to give you energy and promote a healthy level of blood sugar. Now you can use them in your homemade vegan milk recipe.

    Instructions
    1. Soak the cashews overnight.
    2. Drain and rinse the cashews. Place them in your blender.
    3. Add 3 cups of water. (You can add the rest of the water gradually to acquire the thickness you desire.)
    4. Blend until the cashews get all mixed with water, approx 3-4 minutes. You can add optional sweetener at this time.
    5. Place your strainer on top a large bowl and sit the cheese cloth or nut bag on top.
    6. Fold the cloth so that you can squeeze all the milk out, leaving the nut remains behind. If you do not have a cloth, then gently stir the milk in the strainer, so that nut pieces do not make it through.
    7. Pour the milk in a pitcher or jar. You can store in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Be sure to shake your milk before serving as it separates while sitting.
    Recipe Notes

    You can add even more flavoring like vanilla or chocolate powder. Play around with the flavor, and make your own unique cashew milk at home.
